I was getting the fuel sensor error constantly. Wasn't really bothered by it and was going to wait till the next service to get it replaced. I noticed better mileage from Topaz diesel in the car and decided to use Topaz petrol in the bike as well . Then the fuel sensor error disappeared. Hasn't made an appearance in six weeks now. Could the higher octane in the petrol have cleared a blockage or something similar????
Same happened to me recently...I have been using 98 gas too and it seems issue is gone. Let's see in the next few miles to come...Cheers
My error message also gone. I got fed up looking at orange lights so I unplugged the sender at the back of the tank, shoved a bent to suit Diode into the live side. Voila, no engine management light, the guage was reading one bar so had the low fuel warning light, still a pain gurr! I tried turning round the Diode ..... success, happy days. The guage now reads full but hey, no lights
