Exhaust Manifold Bolts

  1. Hi all and happy easter.

Where can I get the bolts which fix into the exhaust manifolds, for attaching the down pipes? I am missing three, on a rebuilt engine. Ducati dealer? Are they difficult to install?

I had a old stud so measured it the dims were, m8, 43.5mm o/all, 22 thread, 13.5 thread, 8 plain.
I am sure the nuts were a copper coloured (not sure of material) pinch locking nut as below.

    That's on a 900ss.

Edit. I think they are called engineers studs. The metal end which is screwed in is usually 1.25, 1.5 or 2 x Dia and the length is usually specified by the amount of thread sticking out, in this case 8 plain+22 thread = 30 long of course other suppliers may not specify the length like this so check. Looks like they are a Ducati special but would say get a 2 x D and cut back if it bottoms out before.

    Cheers Gaz.
