  1. Up for sale is my gorgeous 2020 S1000RR M Sport.

Full BMW service history from new:
    PDI: 22/06/20
    Service 1: 13/01/21 @ 555 miles
    Service 2: 18/01/22 @ 1354 miles
    Service 3: 11/04/23 @ 1600 miles
    (3 months manufacturers warranty remaining)

I bought the bike in early 2021 with the plan to use it for road and track - however health issues have got in the way and it’s hardly been used (as you can tell from the mileage). Sadly now I have to face up to the fact that I need to sell as I’m not using it for what it was intended.

The bike has done a few road rides and two track days in the inters group. You can tell I’ve not ragged it as there’s still chicken strips left on the tyres

I upgraded the back tyre last year to a Michelin Power GP as the OE Michelin tyre was dreadful. This has just done one relatively relaxed track day (and about 20 road miles) and besides the hero bobbles is in excellent condition.

Condition wise I’ve looked after the bike very well, it’s lived under a soft cover in a dry garage on a battery tender, and I’ve regularly lubed the chain and rust protected the fasteners etc even when not being used. It’s going to Bahnstormers Maidenhead next week for a service so will be absolutely ready to go for the riding season.

Upgrades: I’ve added a lightly smoked double bubble screen and an R&G tail tidy, otherwise the bike is completely stock. The crash protection (engine sliders right and left, bungs right and left and fork protectors (not pictured) - and a lithium battery charger/tender will be included with offers meeting the asking price.

Other notes: There’s the odd small mark on the bike if you get your magnifying glass out, v minor scuffs on mirrors but all primary touch points (exhaust/ bar ends/ pegs/crash protectors etc) are testament to an otherwise charmed life! Carbon wheels are absolutely mint.

Bike rides sensationally well and I’ll be very sad to see it go.

Bike comes with two keys, Scorpion datatag, manual and stamped service book, as well as all invoices to date.
Any questions or for a video tour just drop me a WhatsApp on 07813 829428.

Bike also listed on ebay - more pics there.

    Priced to sell: £15,250

  3. Beautiful bike, but I have to hand it to you, I don't see much in the way of a chicken strip
I could show you a chicken strip.

  4. I’ve just got back home from a blast on mine. They don’t have the character of a Ducati (obviously) but, my god, they are brilliant bikes. They literally do everything with consummate ease. And Jesus they are so quick.
Mine is my everyday bike. Ducati for special days.
    GLWS.

  5. I went from a Gen 2 1000RR that I'd owned from new, to my 1299S last year. The Ducati was a thing of beauty, and sounded much better. But after an hour on it, I was tired. So I bought a brand new 1000RR last November, for pretty much what I got for the 1299. The BMW does just about everything better, but I do miss the 1299.

  6. Exactly this!

  7. Bike now sold. Hope the new owner gets to put more miles on it than I managed!
