Hi guys, I've got a 1260 enduro and I think the chain and sprockets might need changing soon. I've always used D.I.D has anyone used the JT chains and what's you opinion?
JT sprockets have a good reputation. I didn't know they made chain as well. DID is a well regarded chain maker and combined with JT sprockets will give you good service. FYI I've just fitted this kit to my 2015 DVT. https://www.ducatimondo.co.uk/store...in-sprocket-kit-with-ek-mvxz-chain-esjot.html I had to chop 6 links off it as the 1260 has a longer swingarm than my 1200. It has JT sprockets and an EK chain. I've never used an EK chain before but it was the best priced combo I could find to get a 15T/42T combination. My previous DID chain lasted 27k miles, so ask me again in 27K miles if the EK is as good!
Brought JT chain and sprockets last year as was planning to sell the bike. JT chain only lasted one European trip about 2500 miles so would not recomend. Brought some Afam Sprockets at good price and buying DID chain. Could not find a better replacement so having Desmo service done and keeping my 1260.
