  1. How do you know they're stolen? a dent doesnt make for a fool proof identity. They probably are the ones, but im just playing devils advocate here

  2. why o why did victim 'show his hand' ?..

  3. I was thinking the same thing. Why so early. I have been in the same situation. Its very hard not to show your hand sometimes, rage just gets to you.

  4. Seller is based in Islington so a stolen sounds very probable.

  5. Charles Dickens
(1812-1870) moved to Pentonville in 1837, I think the area went down hill from there. LOL

  6. I'd have told the seller I lived locally and asked if I could collect in person to save the postage. Thank you and goodnight after solid delivery of a size 9 steel capped boot between the legs.

  7. So what happened? Did you get them back or what?

  8. I must admit, i couldn't see a dent in the cans listed on the e-bay link.........................but i'm a typical age for a Ducati rider, so might be going blind lol.
Having read the thread on PH, it looks like the OP there has showed his hand far too early. The auction has been pulled, so the cans will be long gone by now. He should have just made shure he was the highest bidder and collected them in person......................taking a few friends along with him of course.

  9. These things are a shame... trouble is there's not much you can do other than what kitfit suggested!! Authorities won't be able to do anything unless they're traceable... smart water, serial number etc. etc.
