  1. As I stated previously I loved my ST4S. But I have just remembered how scared I was of riding at night on unlit roads at anything over 45mph!!!

  2. Michel, refurb of the headlamp elements and the fitment of LED bulbs has been well documented over on the ST list - previously a yahoo group, now google-io. If I rode at night much I would do that modification.

  3. Sorry for the thread hijack.. I don't suppose you know if the carby 900ss has a similar mod?... as that has a utterly useless headlight too...thx.

  5. My Monster was effectively a daytime ride due to an OEM shite headlamp. Not anymore.

    BTW, Shropshire is particularly good for test rides. The weather falls on Wales before it gets here and our roads are just as good
