So news finally announced. He is leaving the KRT bike that he should have left 2 years ago. My guess he is retiring *update. He is going to Yamaha lol
I wonder where that leaves Morbidelli. Going to be a lot of riders after that last Gresini seat at this rate
And I’ll just leave this here, https://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/20...n rumour mill begins as next years grid forms. Andy
The only reason the Yam was winning was Toprak riding ate arse off it. I cant see Rea doing any better. Maybe financially
It will certainly be interesting to see how successful he is with the completely different riding style thats for sure. I will hazard an early guess that JR will find things a whole lot easier to start with than Toppers (for obvious reasons).
My take is Kawasaki has reached the end of interest and development in racing, bit like Suzuki He saw no new improvements for 2 years Yamaha R1 possibly near it's end also, but he might get some moto gp wildcards with them
A month ago Bassani said he was happy where he is, disappointed not to get Rinaldi’s seat but happy to stay. Andy
Pramac Ducati it would seem Franco Morbidelli to confirm ‘24 seat, strengthening Valentino Rossi’s bond with Ducati | MotoGP | News (crash.net)
Rea seems to want to win as much as ever and I’m looking forward to seeing how he gets on with Yamaha. I’m sure he is being paid well but I don’t think he’s moved just for the money.
