A lovely couple of hours out in one piece leathers too. Never underestimate a 50yr old man on a 30yr old bike "who's in the mood"
She looks a beauty @Zeus I’m “ well-jel” as us kids say I bloody love Ridgebacks, had three and you now have a truly loyal friend for life,..enjoy mate
Thanks Poucher, she’s really settled in well and is just one of the pack already (she’s trying out yoga )
Ride to Rhayader to get the GG its first service, then ride along the Elan Valley. Took in a little off road track. Ride back home, actually for once and with a little planning we were able to refuel solely with E5 fuel.
We always try and grab a breakfast, we generally set out early enough that we are quite a distance from home. Today was 2 hours before breakfast. Bumped into an old boy on a Honda SuperCub at a fuel stop. From Derby went to Rhayader to pick up some parts for his restoration of a Swiss Army Condor with a 350 Ducati Bevel engine fitted..
Sat in Nero's enjoying a coffee before braving Primark. Looking at the forecast for Chitenay this weekend, need more T shirts and light weight, wicking socks. Andy
Stuck my house on the market. Wasnt really expecting to move so soon but my mortgage is about to go through the roof in Jan so needs/refusal to get shafted by the fucking banks must etc.. No idea where we'll end up right now could be anywhere (Peaks and North Wales/Snowdonia currently under consideration). Also considering renting for a year or two so i dont have to comit to anywhere i might regret. Hopefully interest rates will start to drop once the shitbag torys get their arses whopped at the next GE too. Im still viewing it as a new chapter though, make the most of an unusual situation etc...quite excited.
Whats with the size of the plate? Thats what the toast should have been on, surely! (looks delicious btw)
seems to be the trend at the moment - i.e. bread/toast "on the side" or even not at all in the case of the Towcester Super Sausage "Full English"..
