Contacted the service manager a month ago to get recall jobs done on my desert x, managed 2 weeks ago to get it booked in for this afternoon before I go away on it Thursday, saw the service manager last Thursday evening and asked if he had the parts? I think so he said… he phoned me Saturday morning to make sure I was still ok for the work to be done on Tuesday, yes I said… I asked, have you got the parts? yes he said! This morning he phoned me and said he didn’t have the parts! WTF… What a joke and waste of time. I called Manchester Ducati at lunch time and explained. He said I’ve got all the parts in stock, come now and I’ll do the job as soon as you get here! It took them 20 minutes! How good is that of Manchester Duc and what a waste of time Preston is, personal experience with sales, parts and now service.
Looks I may have to look further afield for a Ducati dealer then. Preston was my nearest after Carlisle. Leeds? Manchester? Glasgow? Overnight stay likely…
Curious that, of all the dealers I’ve ever used over the years (car and bike dealers)ducati Manchester are hands down the worst, I wouldn’t use them under any circumstances!
