Bike is currently totally standard but I expect to fit twin cans. I'm reading there's exhaust-heat issues with some tail tidy's in terms of where they position the indicators and the license plate. Anyone have recommendations? Thx
I went with the Evotech. It comes with heat shields so you don’t melt the number plate, but they look shit, so I fitted a metal number plate, and have no issues with heat now.
Thanks. I've seen these heat shields and thought they looked pretty crappy. Are you running standard cans? Saw there's a version of SC cans where the tips seem to be angled outwards. Wonder if they direct the heat away. Bit of a challenge isn't it!
Sounds good! The metal plate is pressed I assume? Do the indicators mount above or below the cans? Happy with the Termis? Standard downpipes or?
Yep, pressed metal plate. The indicators are above, but are out of the firing line. I went with just the cans as I wanted the underseat cans; the full system has a single silencer.
