Good morning We’re off to brands for the last BSD round , it’s been a long time since I’ve done a race so would like some thoughts . is it still a case of get to a spot early and don’t move ?. can you recommend places to sit and watch , bits to visit etc . I’ve been saying for ages , got to go this year so we’re off for the weekend . thank you
The stand at the top of paddock hill is good for viewing/where you will see the most of a lap. Try and walk over the bridge on pilgrims rise and watch on the in field of Druids if you get a chance too.
I always walk around and change spots. Paddock hill then over to Druids. Then Dingly Dell and out into the woods. Have never sat in a stand while there. Have a mooch around the paddock itself too. I might even be able to blag me a pitlane pass. It’s going to be a good one I hope and weather’s looking good.
last time i went i took a huge pack lunch, strawberries, ice and cold drinks, cos it cost well over a tenner for a burger and drink
We’re camping so planning on taking a lot of food , I don’t mind paying if it’s good quality but it always seems below par
