Oil Strainer Removal 1098

  1. Can anyone advise how to remove the oil strainer without damaging it. I have the cap and gasket off but the strainer is very snug and difficult to remove due the the O-Rings. I am reluctant to use long nosed pliers as the strainer plastic seems fragile.

  2. I've always used long nosed pliers with no issues. Get a good grip, a sharp tug and its out.

  3. That's what I thought. Just wanted to check if there was another way
