1200 Anyone Looking For A Project

One issue I have with the description, it’s got Sachs Skyhook suspension not Öhlins. As has been noted in another thread, the cheapest 1260 that needs no repairs on eBay is only £1700 more. Is buying a damaged repairable worth it ? Andy

If it only needs lock set to fix then why haven’t they done that and just sold it on themselves, if it was 4 grand I’d take a punt but not worth it at that price.

 

It seems to me the back subframe is twisted a little, so possibly more than described?

 

It’s definitely got more damage , all the bikes I’ve bought accident damaged have always had more than described.

I thought that but the pillion seat has been lifted to show the tear in the seat and now I think that is what makes it look askew.

Doesn't alter the fact that it is, as others have said, overpriced. As an example in September I bought for £9k a 2018 1260S with 18k miles, a full Termi, full luggage, in VGC and the 18k Desmo service had been done. Very pleased with that.
