Can anyone tell me how to get the fuel pump out i have taken off the plastic clip so all i am left with is the pump sitting in the rubber housing tried wd40 and a lot of pulling by hand but it is stuck any tricks on how to get this out?

  2. There’s a clip on the plastic moulding, one on each side. You can see them in your picture at 9 and 3 o’clock positions. Squeeze them inwards and the unit should lift out.

  3. yes i have removed the plastic moulding but it still wont budge.

  4. It took me about three weeks recently to remove my one. The 1989 original pump was corroded onto the rubber sleeve and i used a broken hacksaw blade to slowly cut away bits of the sleeve until the pump came free..
