Multistrada Meeting 2024 (emm)

Discussion in 'Touring' started by Twin4me, Jan 23, 2024.

  1. Any fellow Multistrada owners might be interested in this years EMM. It attracts Multi riders from all over Europe for 2 days riding and 3 nights bullish*tting.

This year the event is being held in the area above Nice in the South of France. We've been promised some excellent riding in the area, which normally used for the Monte Carlo Rally.

    The dates are:
Arrival Monday 24th June (allows for three days ride down)
    Ride outs 25th and 26th
    Depart on Thursday 27th

It's a really fun event some of us have now been going for over 10 years and have made some life long friends (@TonyMNo1 @steveb123 @rotaxracer @Coman)

More information here or send me a PM if you want to know more.

PS other bikes are allowed (but beer tariff fines may be levied!)

  2. I thought the rule on other bikes being allowed was you had to do at least your first EMM on a Multistrada. Then at subsequent EMMs if you turned up on something other than a Multistrada you had to stand by the bar all night :)

  3. I agree with him, he's right.
    Be warned...........:D

  4. Fortunately I’ve got a Multistrada so I’ll look at the dates. Unfortunately the French probably won’t like my Akrapovic full system.

  5. Just to say that you can book the hotel without a deposit and then cancel with 48hrs notice. So if you are debating coming it’s worth booking even if your plans change

  6. I think you’ll find they couldn’t care less!

  7. Would you know what time the ride outs start on the 25th?

    Thanks.

  8. Can start quite early, say 08:00 to 08:30, if the planned route is long (200 odd miles). We don't ride as one big group, but split into smaller groups of 3 or 4 who normally ride together at a similar pace. The plan is to all meetup at lunchtime at a restaurant - not aways successful. Sometimes the routes allow shortcuts to reduce the overall distance / time. The routes can sometimes be a bit too ambitious meaning some of us only just make it back to the hotel in time of the meal in the evening.

  9. I'm interested in joining you for this (Ducati yes, multi no;)) as I live not too far from here. Would anyone be interested in a room share to keep the costs reasonable?

    Cheers

  10. Just wanted to say there are still some hotel rooms left if anyone is thinking of joining the trip you probably need to book soon.

  11. Tempting. Will look into this.

  12. Didn't take much persuading, I'm registered on the event and booked at the hotel. Need to get and fit some new tyres, shame as current set would most probably make it TBH but not really willing to risk it.
