So after much deliberation i have decided to pimp my 07 glossy black 749s mono rather than buy something newer The brief is to make it look like it's the bike that batman wanted but Alfred didn't have the class to make. This means it's needs to be a bit understated and stealthy and with some choice trick bits. Nothing mechanical needed as it will be a road bike. Here's what I've got in mind - carbon fibre panels - dymag or bsts - new forks with radial mounted callipers - swanky clutch and brake levers - supercorsas - slipper clutch and cover (i have an stm and ducabike cover - clutch slave (I have an Oberon somewhere) - carbon fibre bits and pieces where possible - rearsets I will be looking to source the bits used and it will take as long as it takes Where i need help is to identify the most suitable manufacturer and model for certain elements. Wheels are not that hard given choices are finite but for other stuff I'm sure there's much more variety out there ie levers and fairings etc So over you you lot feel free to share images and ideas!

You are probably looking north of £4-£5k with your list already. And your bike is worth more than £4k
Gloss black looks great - I wouldn't change them. Find some forged aluminium wheels, get some actually light tyres and the bike will be transformed. For a 749 that's as far as I'd want to go. If I was going to sink more money into it it'd be getting some Ohlins front and rear and then putting a 1198cc engine into it.....
