Isn’t it amazing how the coat of lacquer transforms it again. Really nice workmanship by all. The Scrambler in the background of two shots had a proper strip down too.
Started blue, stripped back to frame and painted black amongst other things. ECU is now with Chris of CJS. Not finished yet but will post when complete. Purchased cerakote and owner a paint sprayer and coated his own exhaust parts etc. Good stuff.
Hi, I'm also considering sourcing an aluminium made replacement fuel tank for my 2006 Monster S4RS and after reading the 'Geoffduk' post/thread from a few years ago are you still happy with your purchase if you still have the bike? Thanks.
I have seen Geoff's tank in the flesh and can vouch for its quality. It is so good you could take it for a factory option.
Thanks for your reply, I've emailed Manuel so hoping he may reply. I spoke with John Celier (Ducati John) at his workshop nr Leeds who informed me of a guy in Italy who fabricates quality products so did some digging + found Manuel via this forum + your posts on the subject. Cheers
Despite my polite email to 'Manuel' at 'Technorace' in Italy I failed to get a response from him. I then emailed 'Beater' in Japan who responded immediately and after further emails which were always promptly replied to I've ordered an Aluminum tank from them though their is a long lead time.
