  2. Ridden both, GT2 is a good tyre, SE01 (now 02) is IMO, better all round for general riding. Andy

  3. Ridden with both on Multistrada as well as many Michelins. Metzeler was better than Angel BUT both are great. Metzeler I think gives more feel, both offer super grip.

I put Metzeler on my Yamaha and it wasn’t great, Michelin Road 6 was much better for this bike. It is also bike dependent.
At the end of the day all these tyres offer more grip than I can probably make most use of. All of them also warm up extremely quickly.

  4. I’ve had both and both are equally amazing in the wet and also have equal abilities in the dry. I’ve not been on track with the Metzelers but was incredibly surprised how well the GT2’s stood up to a warm Donnington last year. Both very similar characteristics, so really a question of which design you prefer. Personally I prefer the look of the GT2’s

  5. My experience on my 1260 PP, amongst many tyres that I've tried-
    Angel GT-1 D-spec - meh, not GT2 so I won't elaborate,
Roadtech 01SE - good, lasted 3k miles which is all I ever get, front end felt a bit 'squidgy',
Conti roadattack-4 - best, much better feel and tip-in than RT01, totally planted feel very solid front-end. Now my go-to, does all I want.

YMMV as they used to say.
