I've recently bought an extention USB cable from Evotech and contrary to what I thought would be an easy fit, it doesn't appear so! The instructions to fit this, talk about connecting the additional white cable to the bike ACC cable, so that it only becomes operational via the bike ignition system, rather than using the battery + & - terminals whereby the USB will be on all the time. Where the heck is the ACC cable likely to be and how close to the battery terminals? The bike is a 2023 V4.
Tony, I've emailed you a wiring diagram for the V4 Pikes Peak (the only wiring diagram I have for a V4 Multi) which does show an ACC cable however working out where it is accessible is not obvious other than for the aux lights.
You may turn your nose up at this but I bought one of these (shown below) fitted to my 1098s. Bolted to the frame where the Exhaust flap solenoid used to be. 2xUSB And a cig lighter socket. It powers my phone fitted to the top yoke which was an afterthought. I bought it originally to power an air pump in case I had a puncture
