  1. September usually OK mate

  2. im gonna book sept tomorrow
how is a ducati day different to a normal TD apart from the obvious. you know what i mean dont you

  3. It's not a track day, it's a day on track with riders of widely varying skills level. A contingent of the usual idiots, some choosing the wrong group to make themselves look good, some way out their depth and 1 or 2 muppets with no sense of responsibility. Be prepared for red flags in the first session of the day and after lunch. I find my own space and give others plenty of room. Andy

  5. do ducati bring some demo bikes for punters to try?

  6. IMO, not as bad as a No Limits track day. You can hire a bike for the day but crash it and your day is done. They haven't offered laps on different bikes in the past. Andy

  7. Slower than most track days imho.

  8. I would agree unless you have BSB Superstock riders looking for practice as happened in 2021. Andy

  9. I found it a bit more civilised, most bikes there are a bit more costly to throw at the fence, rather than some knackered old R6 or similar. I enjoyed it, hence going again, it was good last year when I had the 1299 as it's an un-silenced day, won't matter this year with PP, as you can hardly hear it:sob:

  10. Plus you have more riders on their prized valuable motorcycles so on the whole there is more respect than a normal NL/FE trackday. Doesn't mean "incidents" don't occur but on the whole it has a gentler, more tolerant, more congenial atmosphere.

    You get less out-on-out gravel-whores.

It's all at a price though!

  11. Booked!

  12. Which one mate?

  16. Looks like the 1st one is sold out for the slow and medium classes.

Im booked for September but if anyone has a spare inter ticket for April then please let me know as im after one

  17. I never know whether I’m coming or going with work. If it gets close and I know I’m going to be home I usually manage to bag a cancellation. Track day Trader is a good tool for such events….

  19. If you're a proficient inter, I'll be ok in fast on the DUcati day...There's also a lot of shuffling about on the day.

  20. Considering the 'monsoon like' conditions we’ve been experiencing over the last few months, tomorrow’s weather forecast for Castle Donington looks pretty good! I think I'll pop over and see some action.
