HELP!! Out for a ride today with a mate and my rear right indicator is not working. Just dismantled the back end and it looks like a sealed unit. Can anyone tell me if it is a sealed unit and you have to buy a new indicator complete. Off to Spain Friday night so far from ideal. Thanks in advance.
If it is LED then it probably is a sealed unit. LEDs are very susceptible to poor contacts though so worth checking all connections.
Thanks Derek, I’ve cleaned the connector close to the indicator but don’t know where any othe connectors are to check tbh.
Wasn't there a recall on the 1260 to re-route the cable for the rear indicators? I believe that the way they were created a run for water to ingress into somewhere it shouldn't, possibly the indicator body, and cause problems. Couldn't find any official reference to the above but I do recall mine being checked at a service fairly early on in my ownership (2018). Another member here seems to have had an issue with this.
