  6. Keep an eye on ebay, theres quite a few 996/748`s for sale atm, some at very reasonable prices. I just bought a lovely 996 from there and was spoilt for choice really.

  7. im watching loads atm .no rush so will wait for the right bike ,cash is king after all
    hard work finding good ones ,theres a 748 with a sps996 top yoke on it on there !

  8. I looked at quite a few and there was some right shockers. One I saw was so rusty it looked like it had been at the bottom of the ocean for 10 years. It also had a very bad over stamping on the chasis number so clearly had a hidden history.

    What I did in the end was find a really nice minter but even then I dropped £800 in first week on overhauling it with full belt service, filters, oil, brakes, chain etc. At least I know everything is spot on now.

  9. i dont mind the work ,even if its paintwork ,as long as theres a genuine bike at the end of it all
