Can a Noco genius 2 be connected directly to Multistrada V4 RS 's battery for trickle charging. Or does it have to go through the ducati connector? Tia
My preference is to connect the NOCO Genius direct to the battery terminals using the supplied connector lead with the inline fuse and 2 ring terminations. I had to get creative to bring the lead out on my V4 Pikes Peak but it squeeze between the frame and the plastic under the rider’s seat. Andy
I routed it the same. But when I connected it, the charger stayed on the 1st led. Maybe the fuse is blown, I'll have to check, or does it stay on the 1st led for awhile ?
Depends on the battery type and level of charge. The LED should pulse before becoming solid, then the next LED pulses until you get a solid green. If it's a lead acid chemistry battery, it will depend on what the state the battery the charger sees it is in before starting a pre programmed charge. If you are getting an LED, the fuse is unlikely to be blown. Andy
