Hi everyone, I hail from Cape Town South Africa & have been a biker all my life. Always wanted a Ducati & at last I got a 2003 999 in good condition. A few things need doing, (poor starting & stalling on idle) but the ride puts a smile on my face everytime, just what a bike is supposed to do.:smile: I also have a Triumph Daytona 675 that I use for track days & maybe just once I will take the Ducati to see what she can do. I am loving the low reving torque from the motor & the effortless speed it achieves. In case you were wondering Tokolosh is an African mythical goblin type of thing that some superstitious indiginous people believe in. Will probably have lots of questions as time goes on & I become more acquainted with "that red thing" as my wife calls it.
