  1. Anyone going?

  2. Not me, I seem the recall the admission cost was enough to put me off.

  3. You have to book in advance, you can’t just turn up on the day, that and the cost puts me off but heard it’s a good event..

  4. Given the number of bikes (mostly GS) I saw heading south out of Stratford today the party must start early!!

  5. It’s held not too far from me and all I see is adventure bikes with camping gear on the back everywhere.

  6. That’s what I saw this morning. Between Teddington roundabout and Stratford there must of been over 60 bikes in various sizes of groups from 1 to 4 or 5. Probably more. And that was about 0800

  7. It’s meant to be quite a good bash, maybe one year I’ll go.

  8. I think it’s advertised as the biggest bike festival in the country.

  9. It was a really good, well organised event. I’ll be back next year I reckon. Beats the pants off the NEC or Excel shows. Loads of top-notch, no tat, trade stands. DOC and Ducati were there, as were all the other manufacturers with lots of bikes from their ranges (and not just their adventure bikes) for both on-road and off-road test rides. There was a full 3-day day-time programme of “celebrity” travel riders as speakers on five different stages, multiple bars plus bands in the evenings and even yoga in the mornings! Showers, loos and food stands were all good quality and camping and having a long-weekend laugh with mates is priceless.

  10. Maybe the convent I’m staying at:
    Hôtellerie du Couvent Oberbronn
Could hold one. It’s got the grounds for it
