  1. Oh dear! Easily done on mountain hairpins, I hope the bike wasn’t as badly damaged as you were!

  2. Thanks guys. Unfortunately I reckon cost of repairs plus repatriation will make it a write-off.

  3. Sorry to hear that. Check if you have breakdown/travel insurance with your bank. My VW caravelle broken down in south of France a few years ago. My Barclays travel pack paid for everything, hotel, taxis, flights home for me and my son and repatriation of my van! Couldn’t believe it. If not hopefully you’ll get a good payout on your insurance to pay for another bike

  4. Finally off for its desmo today, after about a year of delays due to other priorities, I can finally get back in the saddle! I might even get round to recording the ACF50 video I've been harping on about :D

  6. I've just returned home from my 6000 km journey to MotoGP in Assen/Holland, spanning over 3 weeks.
Route was from northern Sweden to northern Norway, down along the Norwegian coast to the Danish west coast and so on to Assen. Weather wasn't best possible, apart from that all went smoothly. :)

  7. If anyone is curious, here is the size difference between OEM bars for the 1260 vs the LSL Superbike bars, I've since tweaked the position and height (dropped 10mm and tilted bars to be a little more flat) and it's made a world of difference.

Not advised if you take your MTS on anything but tarmac imo

  12. Same spot in 2019, slightly different angle and decidedly different weather :D

  13. Bought it new in 2016, with Termi race exhaust and lots of carbon. Sold it after a year, but now I have bought it back again from the man I sold it to. It looks great, but now it needs some TLC. Very happy to get it home again. Got the second maiden ride on it tonight and it lived up to expectations

  16. I’ve had a serious loss of mojo. Couldn’t get on with the 1200s, couldn’t get on it with me gammy knees. Tried a few machines out and opted for this. I can get on it. Been on a couple before. Nailed all sorts of bits n bobs on it today. Tomorrow is a proper ride out. Might be a tad tricky seeing as this happened the day after I signed for it o_O

Yes I know. What a nob :poop:

  17. Firstly, great looking bike.

But we’re going to need a lot more detail on the digit, have you actually cut the end of your finger off?!

    GWS mate.

  18. Put yer ring finger up yer ooter. That much was fired 6’ across the shed. I was lucky, could have been a lot worse. Not worth sticking it back on, it was cut at an angle. They wasn’t impressed when I rocked up at a&e with it in a bag of frozen crinkle cut chips :)
