Seen it on UKMOC before - nice and subtle looking almost factory! The only part that doesn't quite work for me is the front mudguard doesn't seem to flow quite right with the fork leg bottoms (being very picky here!!).
Love the clocks. Are they standard? Mine are the dark face. My bike was tail chopped when I bought it but I fitted the chopped bit back on. I like the beer tray. I had Ducati performance carbon cans but some clown pulled out on me and damaged them then ran off. I’ve got Chinese quality ones on now that came with Leo Vince stickers. Hilarious.
As mentioned in my post above the clocks are standard but I swapped just the dark faces over for a white set from an SS. They look better and are easier to read.
Decision made overnight. I need to move one of my bikes on, and unfortunately it's going to have to be this one. I'll put an advert together over the weekend.
This is my 1000DS, regrettably sold about 10 years ago, it was a blinder, ex Ducati uk bike (MDs bike), then sold to the founder of the UKMOC before coming to me, loads of goodies and a full custom remap, epically good and should’ve kept it!
It’s all the other stuff that I can’t afford - I gave up totalling up the bling when it went past £5k mostly done before I had it, I just fine tuned it besides I have a 990 Superduke for arsing around on, 1200R comes out on nice days
Nice bike sympathetically done. I like the clocks too. I’m trying to source a set for an S4R, it’s clocks are knackered.
