Hi everybody What’s better than the sound of a Ducati superbike? That’s right, the sound of two Ducati superbikes! 916 SPS vs 999, desmoquattro vs testastretta - it’s a battle of legends. There's no bias from me, the 999R was without a doubt the better bike, but my Desmo 996 sounded better
I remember hearing a 998 for the first time. Came riding past at about 40mph. The testastretta sounded ok... but it was too refined, too smooth. I.e... disappointing. The clattery, raw tones of the earlier desmoquattro induce a better emotional response.
