Hi all, Does anyone have experience of front stands for the 916 range that lift from the headstock, and don't rely on the headstock having a hole for a pin on the stand? Keen on finding a stand that can lift the front wheel without placing strain on the forks (i.e. by lifting under each fork leg). Looking for a solution that allows the front wheel to be raised over the course of the winter, without creating problems such as leaky fork seals where the bike has been sat with weight on the forks for several months. Probably not so much a thing with the beefy forks that these have, but was a real issue with the bikes I raced motocross with so I'd rather just get the front lofted on my 916 from the headstock. Thanks all
Very helpful when removing rear wheel nut without a mate on rear brake too. A strap around the base of the stand looped over the rear brake pedal and tightened leaves you with two hands and feet to tackle the rear wheel nut.
I have a Kern Stabi version that i used on my 996- https://www.louis.eu/en/kern-stabi-front-lifter-x4-2049-10002685?filter_article_number=10002685 with this adaptor- https://www.louis.eu/en/kern-stabi-...-2049-10002686?filter_article_number=10002686
ABBA stands are OK, if you only have one bike, but, if you have more than one, of different manufacturers, you need different adapters for each bike
I've got one of these stands from ProBike, brilliant bit of kit and sits under the bottom yoke. https://probike.co.uk/lifts-and-stands/fs11-d-front-headstock-stand-ducati/

Alternatively, you could drill the standard yoke. Just don't use the drain hole as a guide because it's not central;
