Nah...that won't work as the leg is offset....the shift bar runs between the lever and the rearset...it's tight so it'll hit one side...
May not be aesthetically pleasing to you but get a nice stainless longer bolt screw it in from the right then fit a nyloc nut and tighten to clamp
Yeah - good point...didnt think of that...that being said the panigale part is getting delivered today...meh..twenty quid...doesnt matter...
So a bit of closure on this one....while not tested id say im 95% good. First and foremost the panigale shifter was slightly too-small-a-diameter....my pot luck parts comparison didnt quite work but i can return it so for a couple of quid...doesnt matter - so thanks to Rick and Bootsam thats what did - had the change the shift bar setup to a smaller one and put a washer on the gear lever itself but im pretty sure im good...thanks to all.
Really not sure where all the hate is coming from...they look ok to me...other stuff if red on the bike (last time i looked) - ive never commented one anyone else's tastes. That being said im not fussy either they do the job better than the oem ones if they arrived in all black that would be fine as well....
Buying 2nd hand, you gets what you gets. Obv if you do a pani madly in anodise, like that mental 1199 that was on here, I agree. But small amounts is fine. I have some on my 1299 (frame hole caps). Its when it looks like a xmas tree as applied by a colour blind dope thats not fine. But, each to their own. I think v4 multi's and sfv4 are pointless useless articles but thats just my opinion. Its not fact.
Ah - ok - i thought i was starting to take quite a bit of flack for it....to which i was thinking "well theyre on my bike last time i looked!" - As much as some people i accept think theyre a vanity thing thats a waste of time...for me my feet are always placed better (leg shape is more comfortable) and more importantly all of the points that move are ball raced making the gear change mechanism and feel way way better than my 15 year old bushed oem jobbies...
