  1. I have to remove my shower injectors to clean my airbox. The air filters had disintegrated and all the bits are all stuck around the airbox !

I'm not sure of the correct procedure to remove so wondered if anyone can recommend the right way, don't want to break anything !

  2. Unplug the multi plug on the left side and push the socket and rubber surround into the airbox. Gently push both pipes through the rubber surrounds into the airbox.
Loosen the hose clips on the inlet manifolds.
Pull the complete injection unit up (violence and swearing will be required)
    Remove the throttle cable.
I use some rubber grease on the inlet rubbers when fitting. And push down on the bell mouths not the injector support.
Make absolutely the inlets are fully in, you should feel the rubber manifolds locate into the groove on the inlet manifolds

  3. Thanks this is very helpul, fuel hoses are now pulled through, main electrical plug disconnected, inlets loosened (fiddly)

You only said to remove the 1 main electrical connector - but there are 2 more on the injectors that look like they need to come off as they are part of the loom that needs pushing back through the airbox ?

I'm not sure how to undo them though and don't want to break them ! 20240922_091207.jpg 20240922_091237.jpg

  4. You need to push the large wiring socket into the airbox. Push from the outside of the rubber inwards and you will see how it is located. All of the wiring inside the airbox then comes out with the inlet assembly

  5. If you need to disconnect those 2 simply push the silver wire retainer on the opposite side to the open side it will then splay the open side and the connector can be pulled off.
