Has anyone with a 848-1098 done a Bayliss rep similar to the V2 Bayliss edition, something i've been thinking about for a while but have never seen it other than on the V2. Just fancy something different from the plain red..
This is where you need someone with photoshop skills. I saw a 899 done in Bayliss livery once and although it’s a very similar bike it looked odd and didn’t really pull it off.
Other thing i'm considering is just do the tail and nose number boards in white with a black or gold pinstripe
The Bayliss rep you showed would be just a few stickers rather than a full wrap and pretty easy to do. A site that has a decent collection of different schemes on different bikes is this. Check the race fairings, the road fairings, the sticker kits, and also change the year of the bike because for some reason they have different designs under different years on some models. https://www.motoxpricambi.com/gb/s-1/home/brand_2-ducati/model-848/year-2010/parts-stickers_set
I’ve toyed with yelow boards for my 1098. Asked a firm nearby for a quote and never heard back - maynbe it was telling me something!
have messaged a local company today for a quote just for number boards will see what they say, if they even reply. Have found this place in that does them pre cut, about £50 in total. Likely i would make a right old mess fitting them myself though lol https://carbon-trader.com/new-stickers.htm
Rather have an Infostrada bayliss wrap than that special edition thing if it were me. Good luck though, there’s a guy on here who does pretty impressive work but I forget his user name.
