It looked pretty obvious to me Bautista was significantly faster than Bulega over the last four or five laps. I’m in no doubt he could have past him.

Hats need doffing Bulegas way don’t they. Taken it to the last round. Beaten his team mate over the course of the season. Beaten his team mate in every qualifying session. I wonder whether he’ll be able to repeat it next season and dare I say take it a step further. Also surprised he didn’t get any offers to return to the GP paddock (moto2 at least).

re this incident I watched race one and the superpole race again last night. If you watch this back again Bulega does him “like candy from a baby” on the start finish straight and into turn one and three corners later he’s pushing him into the gravel. You can see he’s still in the green coming back from the contact, red mist and no consideration for Nicos title. And then he called Bulega “silly”. Spoilt dickhead sometimes and it was funny watching Toprak steer clear of him til he crashed in the super pole race. He knew.
That’s an interesting point of view. When. I saw it it looked like Rea shoved him wide and off track as we’ve been discussing: Rea does love taking all the space to stop the risk of being taken back
