nightshift tonight so i'm contractually obliged to watch a fair chunk of Phiilip Island practices. Goody. I'm a bit biased but i'm hoping bagpuss gets more points than martin so it goes to the wire.
Nice work. I see it was quite rain effected but not seen any results so will be doing the same as you in work today except on catch up. You might want to put “spoilers”in the thread title before you get accosted by the forum plod
Noted - sorry about that....I assumed anyone who was interested would have watched the racing before opening a thread about the racing, no? Anyway, it was a classic win by stoner yet again despite rossi's desperate attempts to beat him.
Is anyone else watching on the motogp video app? Whilst I can play the video OK and jump forward 15 seconds, I have lost the ability to fast forward. Is it just me with this problem? (I'm using an NVidia Shield)
Just watching the second session now and they mention M Lav is acting as crew chief for Scott Ogden this weekend. He really does deserve some success and dare I say proper backing. Without him we’d have literally no one coming through the junior ranks at this level.
Piqueras will destroy the whole moto 3 field next year without Alonso there, it’ll be done and dusted by the end of August.
Well that was quite the sprint....well worth getting up early* for... *accursed work today so had to get up early anyway dammit
As a random observation why on earth is there a union jack on my picture? I didn't put it there, the daft thing...
Location pointer. Get a VPN connection then you can choose any flag you like. But my favourite is the Union flag Look, I’m currently in Andorra! Yay!
As impeccable from Jorge this weekend as Pecco was last weekend. Enjoying it while it lasts cos next seasons going to be unbearable.
How’s the incident between Bez and Vinales “still under investigation”. Literally no one’s fault, you can physically see Bez getting sucked in by Mavs draft at the end of the straight, helpless, case closed. Just hope he’s ok, had a brutal season!
Chess on two wheels. Very impressive. JM was not happy being passed like that the last time. Would have been very interesting to see his response if he didn’t have anything to loose. Both would crash is my bet.
MM does not care if those around him need to run wide to avoid contact during his dash up the inside overtakes. All in a days work to him. Respect for the hard racing, as long as he does not return to really dangerous stuff.
I was really pleased for Senna Aegis hard to believe he’s only 19 especially when ex champs like Guevara and Masia have struggled so badly in moto 2 and he did t even get a moto 3 upbringing.
Now that Marc has served his apprenticeship this season on the private Ducati and fairplay to him, he's ready for 2025 season, but make no mistake about it he doesn't want Pecco having three titles in the factory camp next season as he'll want to go one better before he hangs up his leathers. Nothing else matters including all his current championships and battles with number 46 to achieve this goal. P.s i watched the highlights last night with interest and they showed the Ducati camp not looking that happy, did certain riders get the memo yesterday.
Sat down to watch the race now, have to say Mavericks reaction to that crash with Bez was extremely poor from him. Would expect much better.
