  1. We have a new world champion then :)

Thoroughly deserved despite what the curmudgeonly old gits on here say.

Imagine he will take some stoping next year too!

Well played to Nico too. Probably the best rookie season ever?

The less said about Alex Lowes and that pathetic move he made on Petrucci the better. Should have been long lapped with so much at stake between them.

  2. BMW deserved to get one at last. It will encourage them to stay in the game.

  3. Congrats to Toprak. Well deserved to win the title. I do wonder what’s next for him and hope that if he does get up into MotoGP it works out well (and much better than the Yamaha test).
Bulega has been very impressive indeed too.

  4. Is the etiquette to refer to Toprak as TR01 now?

  5. He’s made Redding look absolutely redundant this year… last year all he did was shout about how Toprak would struggle to do more than he had because the package needed so much improvement…

  6. Missed two rounds and still won. Top class rider who rides hard and gives no fucks about others on track.

Funny when’s Bautista had a similar year it was all the bike, even tho the bikes had won nothing with anyone else on it.

But today toprak is the best rider in the paddock. It is quite an accomplishment to take that bike and make it win in his first year (like Rossi did with Yamaha). He works hard, practices hard and keeps pushing his and the bikes boundaries, very like Marquez.

    Congrats Toprak

  7. There's talk above and in the paddock if & when Toprak goes to Motogp in the future before he gets too old, but does anyone do anygood like winning the championship from WSB to GP's as opposed the other way round.

  10. And bayliss one race ;)

  11. Troy Corser dipped his toe in moto gp waters with about as much success too.

  12. Didn't we all do that.:D

  13. I can't him ever in GP despite his crazy talent and skills. if BMW bring out a 2026 or 27 new regs bike for GP he will not be going. unless he gets offered a ducati i dont see the point in moving.

I don't see anyone getting close to him next year either TBH
