Mesh -- Adhesive Used?

  1. Hi

    Tamburini Model

    I got the bike painted , I need to adhere the mesh to the seat and nose cone

    Any recommendations, what is used , especially under the seat , temps

    Tec 7 be an option ,

    Thermal stability: -40°C to +90°C /peak: 155°C max. 30 minutes

  2. That or Tiger seal would do it, I’ve seen silicone used as well but personally not a fan of that.

  3. I just looked up Tec 7 (having never heard of it) and I imagine that it'd do the job well. Also a lot easier to clean off than any of the silicone-rubber alternatives should the need arise.

  7. Parabond 600. Works like a charm and is very similar to what the factory use.

  8. I used Araldite on my 888 Corse Nose cone, but I'm 100% sure that clear silicone RTV would do the job.

  9. Why not use what the factory used? 3M VHB Tape.

  10. Mesh is also good for repairing an inguinal hernia. I have got some, it's great.
