999 Brake/clutch Fluid Change

  1. Gonna do mine weather permitting this weekend. Anyone got a decent how to guide - i do have the workshop manual so can default to that but the guidance isnt always complete
     
  2. I would advise that you do the clutch first.
    Once you are confident and happy that you have done that correctly, do the brakes.
     
  3. Just be careful when doing the brakes, if your not sure get a professional to do it, don't fuck about with the brakes if you don't know what your doing!!

Without using pressure or vacuum bleed tooling, I found the old school method can be made a little less awkward but submerging the end of the bleed pipe from the caliper in brake fluid in the bottom of your catch bottle. Takes away the necessity of opening and closing the bleed nipple because you aren’t sucking air back in to the caliper. Andy
