  1. Sprint race
Hardest I have seen Martin push. Right at the limit. So lucky for not picking up another track limit warning!

  2. Yes one more would've helped out Pecco on the points front, but he can only blame himself with his results this season plus with one or two others causing him problems..........the pressures on.!

Let's hope nobody gets in their way for the remaining races.
For me if i was Ducati i'd have wanted to match Honda's & Doohan's record with 5 on the bounce as opposed inviting MM into the fold next year.

  3. Time yet for MM to influence which of the two leaders becomes champion…was pleased he lacked the pace this morning to go with the others. Hats off to the guy for the way he has gone about business, so far, this year.

  4. Ditto, but the gloves'll be off next season for sure with his style.

  5. I just hope that Aprilia and KTM get closer to Ducati next year. Cant make my mind up if they are well off the pace, or it is rider talent? Acosta gets in the mix, and crashes too often but he is still finding GP bike limits and re-learning tracks, as tracks change when speed increases..

  6. Hopefully he can do a Casey Stoner and put the crashes behind him and start getting some positive results.

  7. both bagpuss and martin seemed right on the limit especially braking into bends - damn good sprint, my only query being martin strayed into the green whilst overtaking which is a little beyond just riding over track limits, in the eyes of the rules iyswim?
Anyway, looking forward to the real deal tomorrow...

  8. One time, a warning, second time long lap penalty. If last lap, drop a place.

  9. Pretty sure in the sprint you get a warning first time, your allowed one more then third time it's a long lap. Martin hit the green again a lap or two after he passed peco

  10. Couple of bits away from the obvious.

Scott Ogden qualifying on the second row two rounds running. Both times with M Lav in the garage. Always bugged the shit out of me (completely irrationally of course) he had a team and was sat in comms with Gav et al while the real business was going down.

During practice yesterday the camera panned to a young Thai kid with 95 shaved on the side of his head and Hodgy said to Gav “you should get one of them”.
Silence. Then lots of chortling in the background. Made me lol.

  11. Pecco needs a “zero score” somewhere between now and the end of the season from JM even if it’s just to act as a carrot. Done and dusted otherwise.

  12. And it made me bristle when that idiot woman who replaces suzi perry from time to time described it as a championship of mistakes this season just because she couldn’t find the words to describe a very closely fought year.
Crashing 23 times and 4 times out of the last 7 in qualifying is a championship of mistakes. Show some respect.

  13. Can they the factory not just turn down the wick remotely.;)

  14. Hodgson was explaining how it could possibly happen technically (underhanded tweaks to maps basically) but he didn’t think they would and I have to agree surely they’d lose more face doing that than letting them race amd losing to a satellite team (I hope so at least).
Gav keeps mentioning a red button briefcase.
    Time will tell.

  15. Aprilia related

  16. :splat::splat::splat::splat::splat::splat: that's fu#ked it for some folk.

  17. A real nail biter for sure in those conditions, i didn't expect that order of play but three points is very helpful.

  18. Brilliant riding by Acosta.

  19. Yes but i was hoping Jack was gonna get his first rostrum place this year.

  20. I wonder if M Lav will reconsider his position in the team after hearing Ogden say what a difference it’s made to him having him in the garage the last two rounds. It’s really not rocket science having your boss there to motivate you is it.

Anyway great result for him especially after Fernandez and piqueras took each other out!

Furusato should have been given the points as he slid over the line crashing with Veijer too lol

Well done to Ai, our second world champion of the season and can’t say it’s not deserved, if you’re going to label something a championship of mistakes surely moto 2 is a more apt home for that title than moto gp.

Good to see Pec daddy back on the top step love him or not at least we still have a championship to fight for over the last two rounds.

If 93 had stayed on his bike half as many times as he’s crashed this season he could be fighting for it too. But apparently that’s what makes him a genius.
