Hi guys. As per the title, I’m looking for a DVT throttle spring. I have serious issues with wrist pain and tendonitis and find the return spring tension quite obtrusive. I’m after a spring, to send off to a manufacturer, to be copied in every way but at a lighter tension or a complete throttle, damaged is fine, so long as I can get spring. Hope someone can assist. Cheers. Norm.
I found that I would occasionally release my grip enough so the throttle would slip and close making the ride a bit jerky. As it already has heated grips, I just wrapped some tennis raquet grip tape on both grips to make it bigger and it made a huge difference. Not so hard a surface so less pressure needed to maintain control. Has worked well for me and very cheaps!
Tried the cricket grip on a previous Mut when the grips wore down but couldn't get on with the larger diameter.
Serious thread revival question Shoboshi but did you ever get those lighter DVT Mutley throttle return springs manufactured as I'm in need of one !! Many thanks. Rich.
