With all my mucking about with different forks I've ended up with these 1098 Sliders, outers, or whatever you want to call them. They are not perfect, but are in far better condition than a lot I've seen. They have a few minor marks, but each has a more significant mark near the top. However they will be just under the yokes and could be turned inwards where they will not be noticed: The only significant marks: They came from a 1098, but definitely fit the 848, and I'm assuming also others, possibly 1198 etc. Perhaps somebody could comment. They are for 53/53mm yokes and are 499mm long. I'd like £100 for them collected from Clanfield, Hants, or +£7.50 posted within the usual UK limits. Or, as I have all the tools etc, if you want to send me your forks, or drop them off, I'll fit these along with new seals and fresh Oil for £220 in total then post them back to you.
If we can arrange a suitable time, and I have enough notice to get the seals, I'll even fit them whilst you wait.
