I've got the same one. I'll give it 3 weeks before it starts to delaminate/peel off. Yesterday I ordered a new rear tyre.
Is it just me that hates tank pads, they look so aftermarket, I know you need something as the tank does get battered from zips etc, but surely some clear stone chip film would look better.
Don't buy a clear one if the black one is messing with your OCD...I had to go buy a second one as I made a bit of a hash of the first one (finger prints and a couple of bubbles)....made a bigger mess of the second (no finger prints, I was wise to that second time, but half a dozen bubbles that kept growing) I don't have the best temprament when it comes to things like that either, damn near blew a blood vessel after the second one went a touch wrong. Fortunately I know myself better these days so removed anything breakable and expensive from nearby! Kinda hoping they have a red and white one for the Pani now, clear ones might look better but they are way too much hassle...think I'll get the Ducati guys to fit it too.
I dont know why they dont do away with tank pads they look naff far better and instead imho sell boxes of disposable exterior sticky crotch pads... tena-lady - but for bikers !!!
Went to see Mark at MADSAL to discuss my 750SS project and came away with this seat cover: He's like Aunty Wainwright from Last of the Summer Wine, you can never leave without buying something!! MADASL Racing Yorkie
Damn cupboard of shineys at JHP got me again, ducati rear sets, some rad guards and a JHP seat. I had planned on the seat, the other two bits were lustful impulse buys :/
Gary from Evotech sent me some very snazzy washers for free - problem is I now want more Let see how far I can push my luck
