  1. I may be late to the news, but BikeStop has been bought out. What difference do you think Infinity’s ownership makes?

  2. Don't know Bikestop but in the scheme of things, isn't Infinity small potatoes? Andy

  3. I would say infinity is quite large.

  6. Infinity have a few shops near us, they bought/took over one in Christchurch a few years and remain a good option for gear. They also have a clearance warehouse just off the M3 at Camberley.

  7. And don’t I remember Sev :joy: I went to a school not far from Lynchford Road and have known the area for nigh on 65 years. I’m aware of their internet presence and the shops in Farnborough and Camberley. I was not aware that they had outlets elsewhere, hence my comment. Andy

  8. ..been to both over the years, didn't they have a place on A3 past Guildford also? if you phone ahead to check for stock then worth it, but never had boots, helmets in right size for me on maaany occasions.

  9. It’s the bike stop online website that has been bought by infinity - the store remains independent thank god

  10. In my opinion both are good firms. I don't know anything about the deal but I could see why BikeStop might want to get out of selling online, as you need buying power and space for one. Exceptional service and product knowledge - which BikeStop have by the bucket load - is far more valued in person than online. I think Infinity do a good job too - someone has to take it to SportsBikeShop, as a monopoly is no-good to anyone. Good luck to both of them.
