So what have you done today..?

  1. This was actually Friday but worthy of a post. Went to the car Museum in Malaga with brother in law and sister in law. I noticed it’s now called the Car and Fashion museum. Went a couple of years ago and we were lucky enough to meet the owner who has now unfortunately died. It’s €10 really well spent and I highly recommend it if you have the chance and you’re in Malaga. Between each car exhibit is an exhibit of a fashion item from the era. Also various memorabilia and really extraordinary motoring items. The whole thing is a visual feast, a celebration of the art of car design and fashion. I fear that now the curator has died it might get broken up. We did feel it wasn’t being looked after as well as in the past. There were finger prints over some of the exhibits and due to the recent heavy rain some ceiling plaster had fallen into one of the convertible’s and not been cleaned up.
    Sacrilege in my book. IMG_9983.jpeg IMG_9980.jpeg IMG_9978.jpeg IMG_9977.jpeg IMG_9976.jpeg IMG_9975.jpeg IMG_9973.jpeg IMG_9972.jpeg IMG_9971.jpeg IMG_9970.jpeg IMG_9969.jpeg IMG_9968.jpeg IMG_9967.jpeg IMG_9966.jpeg

  3. @Sam1199 ’s post about the car museum reminded me that we stumbled across this yesterday on the way to the museum. Dread to think how much…

  4. Depends on what exactly it is. If it’s a real AC could be £1/4 million.

  5. Found out that the sap from fig trees, both branches and leaves, is not nice when you get it on your skin whilst lopping branches off the damn thing, a bit burn / itch type of feeling o_Oo_O

  12. Had someone drive into the back of my work van today whilst it was parked and I was unloading a kitchen, not sure how you can do that ? I reckon he was on the phone. 10sec earlier I was by the back doors so lucky I guess.
He was a large gentleman from the travelling community, so surprised he stopped really. Even more luckily a police car came around the corner 30 seconds after it all happened. To everybody's amazement he had insurance!.
It can always be worse and nobody was hurt, the van is only a few months old but the boss man was fine with it .

  17. Quooker?
Just been looking at one. A combination of hot/ cold and boiling all in one tap. It does take a fair bit of room from storage under the sink though.
Thinking of installing one in the new kitchen.
Have to convince the Mrs first.

  18. With how often I have to descale the kettle down here I dread to think what the water would do to a £2k tap! A mate looked at one and Quooker advised their filter system which is another £300 + £320 a yr in filters or getting them out to service it every 6 to 12 months.

  19. You can get equally good ones for £250-300 (and yes I know you can buy an awful lot of kettles for that but they are much more useful than a kettle. And filters are £30 for a year.
