I was being flippant as we were only 2 hours into the new season but let’s not deny that everyone’s looking at how he adapts to it today more than anything else The boring thing has been the lead up to today, time for him to deliver now (and going forwards}. He’s still .3 and more off pecco right now fwiw
he’s going to win the championship next year, I’m sorry to say it, I know he crashes, but Pecco and Martin have crashed quite a bit, and when he stays on he is equally as fast as anyone. He was loosing 0.3tenths to pecco on the straight alone at the weekend, he’s gonna be fine! I’m not a huge Marquez fan btw, but do tend to think it literally doesn’t matter what he does some just want to knock him. Unlike Rossi who literally spent the last 5 years riding around in the bottom of the top 10 and yet there was never a bad word spoken.
Oh, and that new KTM fairing is absolutely disgusting, just when you thought the bikes couldn’t get any uglier
Stat of the afternoon: Pramac got through 185 bottles of plonk during the after party on Sunday, seems a bit meagre to me id still be going!!!
I just can’t understand how you have such utter confidence that a 6 time world champion on undoubtably the best bike on the grid can’t win a championship, absolutely blows my mind
6 times world champions eventually run out of steam? We saw it with vr46 and many other ex champs before him. I also think Pecco is much better on the brakes and general smoothness/experience on the Duc and also putting a fast/qualifying lap in. Hes also not damaged goods. Always happy to be proved wrong!
