  1. Ok the bit im hding there with the green mark on it, its part of the front wiring but i cant see anything for it to connect to?

Also while im here afyer a crash my side lights work indicators tail lights everything but not the high beam or low beam... Checked the wiring for any obvious damage theres none and the fuse is fine also if it helps when you flick the high beam on the light does not show on the dash, wondered if it was a problem with the switchas that handlebar was the one that hit the floor however all other electrics on it work fine :/

  2. Slight update they both work when using the flashy button (the one you use to start lap times) but not when flicked on using the permanent switch :/

  4. Aha! That must have gone bouncing down the road somewhere! Im guessing thats my problem!!

  5. Aha! Reminds me of when i rebuilt my 94 ZXR750L2 after a crash. Id spent hundreds sorting the bodywork all back out & rebuilding it, and when it came to the headlamps, it had 2 relays - one for main & one for dipped. Unfortunately one relay had got lost down the road.

My bird at the time was promising me all sorts of bedroom favours if I rode over hers, so I plugged the relay into the dipped headlamp circuit and off I went.... Was fine but the visibilty wasnt the greatest and of course I was very keen to get to her house asap. So, there I am whizzing down this very straight bit of road thinking "i know theres a very sharp right hander up here somewhere............ shhhiiitttt" and promptly ended up over shooting the bend and ending up in a field....

    You live and learn.

  6. i rode over to a birds house for the promised favours knowing full well that my headlight fuse had blown. but it was daylight when i went. Dark when i came out, had to ride with my l/h indicator on so i could see the side of the road every now and again. 5miles down country lanes till the nearest garage!!

  7. Now THATS impressive! :)

  8. Did either of you get you end away after all that hassle?
