I recall 20 Embassy No1 being £2.75 a packet when I gave up aged 27. I was up to 30+ a day by then having smoked since I was 13.

I used to and possibly still do envy those who smoke only whilst out for a drink. Me I know I’d be straight back to 30 a day in no time.

That’s pretty much the only time I smoke really, the two things go together so well.
