I have ust bought 749, second generation model (2005). Bike has standard exhaust and I am searching for termignoni slip-on. Here is where i got confused: - When I looked at Ducati catalog there is no Termignoni slip-on in there just full exhausts that came together with headers, ECU and filters - However online I noticed that people were selling slip-on versions?? So question that follows is. Which is proper slip on for my bike and second one, is anyone selling it? J.
This is the asymmetric system, known as a "slip-on". Ignore the part nr, the only difference between them is the ECU and you can reflash the stock ECU.
Ok I see. So If somebody is selling this part, the part of header tube should also come with it? What I also do not understand is... does not the silencer have 2 inflow tubes? Example: https://www.ebay.de/itm/267031776274
The cat for the front cylinder is in the header tube... for the rear in the actual end can. You need the new termi end can plus the header. Or you could cut out the cat from the standard header and weld up, and use just the termi end can. Exhausts for these models is a bit of minefield tbh. As shallow sump ones do not fit deep sump and vice-versa.
You need the front link pipe as the catalyst for the horizontal cylinder is built into the stock link pipe.
