So what have you done today..?

  1. That’s pretty much the only time I smoke really, the two things go together so well.

  2. Saw the gritting trucks out yesterday night. Time to tuck up two
Roof slowly pushing it all out? Eeek!

  3. The inside skin hasn’t moved neither has the roof line. Looking at the neighbours it seems a common enough problem where the outer skin has bulged probably caused by a leaking gutter and frost over the years? also there are no header bricks in this elevation, which is odd.
It’s done well though for 160 years.

  4. Today I’ve got my builders maintenance manager coming to check out my two year snagging list that I submitted for work to be done before their warranty expires in December.

Then this afternoon I’ve got a “Well Man Clinic” at the docs.

  5. Considering selling all the bikes, I might put some up on here but I don’t think they are really of any interest to members on here so probably eBay. Not sure yet what’s best.

  6. I know it’s gone a little cold outside but your plan sounds a tad reactionary

  7. Ha ha, yeah it’s not the weather I usually ride all year round, like I say not sure what to do yet but maybe it’s time to start off loading them.

  8. To start off post them up on here for us to have a butchers look.
    Ya never know.

  9. Agree with him, come on @Zeus , list what you've got :upyeah:

  10. Pics!

  11. Well the builders guy came at 10am and I thought I’d get knocked back on lots of minor issues given they weren’t life threatening or structural in any way and purely aesthetic which could be sorted by decorating, but he accepted every single issue I’d flagged up, even adding a few others I’d not picked up on.

The work won’t get done until the new year but at least my niggles are now registered :)

  12. Dealing with Roland Rat and his pals today for the folks, they're climbing up through the brick cavity into the loft area.:scream:

  13. Now that’s a really nice car. Looks like a good renovation. I need to know more, besides the fact that it’s a 250 or more likely 280 imported from USA.

  14. Have you had the roof replaced with heavy tiles as opposed to slate?

  15. Butchers hook, you mean :kissing_heart:

  16. Went to the dentist after work. £50 for 30 mins with the hygienist, then £45 for 15 mins with the dentist. All good though , 50 years old and no fillings .

  17. Nope, bit like apple and stairs, dog and phone etc etc
I’ve got a friend who was born within the sound of Bow Bells, so I should know.

  18. Hmmmm, but the second part of Cockney rhyming slang shouldn't be spoken as that was how the 'code' was kept.
So just 'apples" for stairs, 'dog' for phone and so on.
I grew up close enough to London so I'm right so there!

  19. Driven up to the NEC for a butcher's hook in the bike show tomorrow :D Enjoyed a few beers and some decent scoff in the Premier Inn and now getting ready for bed. Andy

  20. I might see you there :upyeah:
