I have a 998R that was subject to quite extensive work a few years ago and was documented on here https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/posts/1661655/ Since the work I have ridden it about 500 miles. I am afraid that I look at it more than I ride it but it does get started regularly. No MoT at the moment as I have not taken it out for quite a while. It does have a slightly strange history which I will not try to hide but is now all together and is asking to be used. It has a V5 showing 2 former keepers. There are 7849 miles showing on the original speedo but I cannot warrant this to be correct. Everything about the engine when I took it apart suggested that this would be reasonable. There are one or two non standard parts. Adjustable footrests, raceshift gear lever, bubble screen come to mind. There are quite a few spare parts which could be included depending on the price agreed. There is no rush to sell and I am very happy to continue looking at it! I am looking for something over £20K.
