Hi all, Can anyone tell me if the 1299 uses a standard H11 bulb? I’ve discovered today that a former keeper fitted some awful LED “bulbs”, which won’t go through an MoT. I bought some H11 bulbs in Halfords but I’m struggling to push them in far enough to allow the three tangs to engage with the headlight shell. Thanks in advance! Nik
Thanks Kev. I got some in Halfords, and even removing the rubber seals I was having trouble pushing them in far enough to engage correctly. Is there a nack?
Sadly the H11 bulbs I got aren’t long enough in the body to clear the headlight surround - it took dismantling everything to figure out why I couldn’t rotate them in to place. So now I’ll be on the hunt for some longer ones. The Pani is a hateful thing to dismantle, so I hope I enjoy riding it more than I do working on it!
